ProTaper SE SX Race Handlebar - Platinum

The ProTaper SE SX Race Handlebar - Platinum is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from a proprietary 2000-series T6 aluminum alloy with a cold-forged crossbar and CNC-machined crossbar clamps bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer. ProTaper shot peens, stress-relieves, and anodizes the bar for durability, and the clutch side features knurling for grip adhesion. Chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling, plastic end plugs seal out debris, and the bar ships with a crossbar pad included. At 1.8 lbs. without the pad, it suits riders who want a lightweight 7/8 in. bar with solid, predictable feedback.

This bar measures 800mm wide, giving you good leverage without requiring a cut-down for most setups, though it can be trimmed narrower if needed. The 54.5mm rise lifts the grip area well above the clamp, which works well for riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright position. The 54mm sweep angles the grips back toward you for a relaxed wrist position, and the 195mm control area gives plenty of straight section to position levers and switches.
