ProTaper SE SX Race Handlebar - Black

The ProTaper SE SX Race Handlebar - Black is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built for riders who want direct, predictable feedback from their bars. ProTaper constructs it from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy, shot peened and stress relieved before receiving an anodized finish. The crossbar is cold forged, its clamps CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer, and the whole assembly ships with a crossbar pad included.

With 54.5mm of rise and 54mm of sweep, this bar places the grips at a moderate height and angles them back toward the rider enough to take some stress off the wrists without feeling overly laid back. The 800mm width gives good leverage at the bars and can be trimmed down if a narrower setup is needed. The 195mm control area on each side gives plenty of straight section to position levers and switches.
