ProTaper SE SX Race Handlebar - Blue

The ProTaper SE SX Race Handlebar - Blue is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from ProTaper's proprietary 2000-series T6 aluminum alloy, with a cold-forged aluminum crossbar and CNC-machined 6061 aluminum crossbar clamps bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer. The bar goes through shot peening and stress relieving before receiving an anodized finish, and the clutch side is knurled for grip adhesion. Chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling, plastic end plugs seal out debris, and a crossbar pad is included. At 1.8 lbs. without the pad, it is aimed at riders who want solid, predictable handlebar feel.

This bar measures 800mm wide, giving you good leverage without requiring major trimming for most setups, though the tubing can be cut down if a narrower cockpit suits you. The 54.5mm rise lifts the grip area noticeably above the clamp, which works well for riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright position. The 54mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a relaxed wrist angle, and the 195mm control area gives you plenty of straight tubing to position levers and switches.
