ProTaper SE Raptor Handlebar - Black

The ProTaper SE Raptor Handlebar - Black is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from a proprietary 2000-series T6 aluminum alloy with a 70,000 psi rating, giving it a strong, solid feel without unnecessary weight. ProTaper forms the crossbar from cold-forged aluminum and machines the clamps from 6061 aluminum, bonding them with an aerospace-grade polymer. A shot-peened, stress-relieved, and anodized finish protects the surface, while chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling. At 1.8 lbs. without the included crossbar pad, it suits riders who want a light bar with direct, predictable feedback.

With 115mm of rise, the Raptor bend sits the grip area well above the clamp, putting the handlebars in a higher position that works well for standing riders or anyone who prefers a more upright stance. The 87mm sweep angles the grips noticeably back toward the rider, which eases wrist and shoulder tension during longer rides. The bar is 770mm wide out of the box and can be trimmed narrower, and the 206mm control area on each side gives plenty of room to position levers and switches.
