ProTaper SE Raptor Handlebar - Platinum Gray

The ProTaper SE Raptor Handlebar - Platinum Gray is a 7/8-inch aluminum handlebar built for riders who want solid, predictable feedback from their controls. ProTaper constructs it from a proprietary 2000-series T6 aluminum alloy in a 5mm wall, shot-peened and stress-relieved before anodizing for lasting durability. The crossbar is cold-forged aluminum with CNC-machined 6061 clamps bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer, and the clutch-side grip area is knurled for positive adhesion. Chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling, plastic end plugs seal out debris, and a crossbar pad is included.

The Raptor bend offers 115mm of rise, which brings the grip area well above the clamp and suits riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright position. At 87mm of sweep the grips angle back toward the rider at a moderate angle, keeping wrists in a relaxed, natural position without feeling overly pulled in. The bar measures 770mm wide for good leverage, and the 206mm control area gives plenty of straight tube to position levers and switches exactly where you want them.
