ProTaper SE KX High Handlebar - Platinum Gray

The ProTaper SE KX High Handlebar - Platinum Gray is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy with a cold-forged aluminum crossbar, aimed at riders who want solid, predictable feedback from their controls. ProTaper shot peens, stress-relieves, and anodizes the bar for durability, and the clutch side is knurled to keep grips from rotating. Chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling, plastic end plugs seal the bar ends, and a crossbar pad is included in the box.

This bar has 53mm of rise, which lifts the grip area a moderate amount above the clamp and works well for riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright position. The 73mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider at a level that takes some stress off the wrists without pulling the hands too far rearward. At 800mm wide it offers strong leverage, and the 195mm control area on each side gives you room to position levers and switches without crowding.
