ProTaper SE KX Low Handlebar - Platinum Gray

The ProTaper SE KX Low Handlebar - Platinum Gray is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy with a 70,000 psi rating, giving riders solid, predictable feedback through the bars. The crossbar is cold-forged aluminum, and the clamps are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer. A shot-peened, stress-relieved, and anodized finish protects the surface, while chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling. The bar ships with a crossbar pad and plastic end plugs, and knurling on the clutch side helps keep grips locked in place.

The KX Low bend sits at 54mm of rise with 60mm of sweep and an 800mm width. That rise brings the grip area to a moderate height, comfortable for riders who spend time both seated and standing but not so tall that it becomes awkward while seated. The 60mm of sweep angles the grips back toward you for a relaxed wrist angle, and the 195mm control area gives plenty of straight section for mounting levers and switches. The bar can be trimmed down from 800mm if you need a narrower setup, but it cannot be extended.
