ProTaper SE YZ High Handlebar - Platinum Gray

The ProTaper SE YZ High Handlebar - Platinum Gray is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from a proprietary 2000-series T6 aluminum alloy and rated at 70,000 psi, making it one of the more robust options in the SE line. The crossbar is cold-forged aluminum, and the clamps are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer. A shot-peened, stress-relieved, and anodized finish adds durability, while chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling. The bar ships with a crossbar pad included.

The YZ High bend sits at 84mm tall with a 53mm rise, which brings the grip area up noticeably and works well for riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright position. The 54mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider at a moderate degree, keeping wrists relatively relaxed without going to an extreme. At 800mm wide the bar offers solid leverage, and the 195mm control area gives plenty of room to position levers and switches, though the bar can be trimmed narrower if needed.
