ProTaper SE CR Mid Handlebar - Silver

The ProTaper SE CR Mid Handlebar - Silver is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built for riders who want solid, predictable feedback from their controls. ProTaper makes it from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy, with a cold-forged aluminum crossbar and CNC-machined 6061 aluminum crossbar clamps bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer. The bar ships with a crossbar pad and weighs 1.8 lbs. without it, making it a practical choice for off-road and motocross riders who run 7/8 in. bar setups.

This bar has 56mm of rise, which lifts the grip area to a height that works well for standing riders or those who prefer a more upright position. The 57mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a relaxed wrist position without going to an extreme. At 800mm wide with a 195mm control area per side, the bar gives solid leverage and leaves enough straight section to mount levers and switches cleanly, and the width can be trimmed down if a narrower setup is needed.
