ProTaper SE ATV High Handlebar - Silver

The ProTaper SE ATV High Handlebar - Silver is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy and rated at 70,000 psi, making it one of the more capable bars in the SE line. The crossbar is cold-forged aluminum, and its clamps are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer. A shot-peened, stress-relieved, and anodized finish gives the bar its durability, while chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling. Knurling on the clutch side helps keep grips locked in place, and plastic end plugs seal out moisture and reinforce the grip ends. The bar ships with a crossbar pad and weighs 1.8 lbs. without it.

The ATV High bend has a rise of 104mm and a sweep of 100mm, which brings the grip area up noticeably and angles it back toward the rider, making it a good fit for standing or for riders who want a more upright, relaxed wrist position. The bar measures 813mm wide, giving solid leverage, and can be trimmed down but not extended. The control area runs 199mm, leaving ample straight section for mounting levers and switches on either side.
