The ProTaper Contour ATV High Handlebar - Silver is a 1-1/8 in. clamp handlebar built from ProTaper's proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy, processed through shot peening, stress relieving, and anodizing for lasting durability. The clutch side features knurling for a secure grip hold, and chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling. At 1.55 lbs. (720g) without the pad, it balances fatigue life, impact strength, and flex, and it ships with a crossbar pad included.
This bar has a 70mm rise, which lifts the grip area noticeably above the clamp and suits riders who prefer a more upright, standing-friendly position. The 55mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a relaxed wrist angle rather than a neutral, straight-arm feel. At 813mm wide it offers good leverage, and the 200mm control area on each side gives plenty of straight tube to position levers and switches, with 1/4 in. cut guides available if you need to trim the width down.
