ProTaper KTM 65 SX Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 50 Teeth - Black

The ProTaper KTM 65 SX Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 50 Teeth - Black is a 50-tooth rear sprocket cut from 7075-T6 heat-treated billet aluminum and finished with a deep-penetrating anodized black coating that resists corrosion and wear. ProTaper's Race Spec series uses angled mud grooves machined into both sides of every tooth, which shed mud during riding and increase tooth surface area by up to 40% compared to competing sprockets, resulting in better chain contact and longer sprocket life. Countersinks built into the sprocket automatically center it to the hub at installation, so no separate hub center guide is needed. This sprocket fits the KTM 65 SX and several other small-bore machines including the Husqvarna TC65, Gas Gas MC 65, KTM 60 SX, KTM 65 XC, and Triumph TF 250-X across their respective model years.

A larger rear sprocket like this 50-tooth unit lowers overall gearing, which sharpens acceleration off the line and out of corners at the cost of some top-end speed.
