The ProTaper KTM 65 SX Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 49 Teeth - Black is a 49-tooth rear sprocket built from 7075-T6 heat-treated billet aluminum and CNC-machined to close tolerances. It belongs to ProTater's Race Spec series, which features an angled mud groove on both sides of every tooth that sheds mud during riding, increases tooth surface area by up to 40% compared to competing sprockets, and extends sprocket life through improved chain contact. Countersinks built into the sprocket center it to the hub automatically during installation, and a deep anodized finish adds corrosion and wear resistance. Made in the USA, it fits the KTM 65 SX as well as compatible Gas Gas, Husqvarna, KTM, and Triumph small-bore machines.
A larger rear sprocket like this 49-tooth option lowers overall gearing, which sharpens acceleration off the line while reducing top speed.
