ProTaper Kawasaki KX100 Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 52 Teeth - Black
The ProTaper Kawasaki KX100 Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 52 Teeth - Black is a Race Spec (RS) rear sprocket cut from 7075-T6 heat-treated billet aluminum and finished with a deep-penetrating anodized black coating that resists corrosion and wear. ProTaper machines an angled mud groove into both sides of every tooth, which sheds mud during riding and increases tooth surface area by up to 40 percent compared to competing sprockets, resulting in better chain contact and longer sprocket life. Countersinks built into the sprocket automatically center it to the hub at installation, so no separate hub center guide is needed. Made in the USA, this sprocket fits the Kawasaki KX100 as the lead application and also covers the KX80, KX85, KX112, and the 2003 Suzuki RM100.
A larger rear sprocket like this 52-tooth option lowers overall gearing, which gives quicker acceleration off the line at the expense of top-end speed.
