ProTaper Kawasaki KX250 Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 52 Teeth - Black

The ProTaper Kawasaki KX250 Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 52 Teeth - Black is a 52-tooth rear sprocket made from heat-treated 7075-T6 billet aluminum and CNC-machined in the USA. It belongs to ProTaper's Race Spec series, which features an angled mud groove cut into both sides of every tooth, creating a self-cleaning action that helps shed mud during riding. That groove design also increases tooth surface area by up to 40% compared to competing sprockets, which ProTaper says improves chain contact and extends sprocket life. Built for Kawasaki KX250 riders and a wide range of other Kawasaki off-road and dual-sport machines, it also fits select Suzuki models.

A 52-tooth rear sprocket sits on the larger end of the rear gearing range, which lowers overall gearing for quicker acceleration off the line at the cost of some top-end speed.
