The ProTaper Kawasaki KX100 Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 50 Teeth - Green is a 50-tooth rear sprocket built from 7075-T6 heat-treated billet aluminum with a PTSE hard coat and a deep-penetrating anodized finish for corrosion and wear resistance. ProTaper's Race Spec series features angled mud grooves machined into both sides of every tooth, which shed mud during riding and increase tooth surface contact area by up to 40% compared to competing sprockets, extending sprocket life. Countersinks in the sprocket automatically center it on the hub at installation, so no separate hub center guide is needed. Made in the USA, this sprocket fits the Kawasaki KX100, KX112, KX80, and KX85, as well as the Suzuki RM100, covering a wide range of small-bore off-road bikes.
A 50-tooth rear sprocket sits on the larger end of the gearing range, which lowers overall gearing for quicker acceleration out of corners and tighter sections at the cost of some top-end speed.
