The ProTaper Honda CR80R Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 50 Teeth - Red is a Race Spec (RS) rear sprocket machined from 7075-T6 heat-treated billet aluminum and finished with a deep-penetrating anodized coating that resists corrosion and wear. ProTaper cuts an angled mud groove into both sides of every tooth, which sheds mud during riding and increases tooth surface area by up to 40% compared to competing sprockets, resulting in better chain contact and longer sprocket life. Built in the USA and sized at 50 teeth, it fits the Honda CR80R, CR80RB Expert, CR85R, CR85RB Expert, CRF150R, and CRF150R Expert across their respective model years. Countersinks in the sprocket automatically center it to the hub at installation, so no separate hub center guide is needed.
A 50-tooth rear sprocket sits on the larger end of the gearing range, which lowers overall gearing for quicker acceleration off the line at the cost of some top-end speed.
