The ProTaper Honda CR80R Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 56 Teeth - Red is a 56-tooth rear sprocket built from 7075-T6 heat-treated billet aluminum and CNC-machined for Honda two-strokes and small-bore four-strokes, including the CR80R, CR85R, CRF150R, and their Expert variants. ProTaper's Race Spec series incorporates an angled mud groove on both sides of every tooth, which sheds mud during riding to reduce wear and help maintain power transfer. The groove layout also increases tooth surface area by up to 40% compared to competing sprockets, extending sprocket life. Countersinks built into the sprocket self-center it on the hub during installation, no separate centering guide needed, and a deep-penetrating anodized finish in red resists corrosion and wear.
A 56-tooth rear sprocket sits on the larger end of the range, which lowers overall gearing for quicker acceleration off the line at the cost of some top-end speed.
