The ProTaper Honda CRF450R Rear Aluminum Sprocket - 47 Teeth - Black is a Race Spec (RS) rear sprocket cut from 7075-T6 heat-treated billet aluminum and CNC-machined in the USA. ProTaper's angled mud grooves run on both sides of every tooth, actively shedding mud during riding and increasing tooth surface area by up to 40% compared to competing sprockets, which translates to better chain contact and longer sprocket life. A deep-penetrating anodize protects the black finish against corrosion and wear, and built-in countersinks self-center the sprocket on the hub at installation without a separate hub center guide. This sprocket fits a wide range of Honda dirt bikes and dual-sports, with the CRF450R covered from 2002 through 2026.
A larger rear sprocket like this 47-tooth unit lowers overall gearing, giving you quicker acceleration off the line at the cost of some top-end speed.
