The ProTaper Honda XR250R Front Sprocket - 13 Teeth is a Race Spec (RS) front sprocket built from 655M13 nickel-chrome-molybdenum alloy steel that has been case-hardened and core-refined, then CNC machined and internally broached to tight tolerances. A proprietary coating is applied to resist wear and corrosion, while lightening holes trim rotating weight and self-cleaning mud grooves keep dirt from packing in. It fits the Honda XR250R as well as several other Honda models including the CB300F, CB300R, CB300R ABS, CBR300R, and CRF250L.
A 13-tooth front sprocket sits on the smaller end of the typical range, which lowers overall gearing for stronger acceleration off the line at the cost of some top-end speed.
