The ProTaper Honda CRF230F Front Sprocket - 13 Teeth is a Race Spec (RS) front sprocket built from 655M13 nickel-chrome-molybdenum alloy steel that has been case-hardened and core-refined, then CNC machined and internally broached to close tolerances. Lightening holes keep rotating weight down, and self-cleaning mud grooves help shed dirt during riding. A proprietary coating is applied to resist wear and corrosion over the long term. This sprocket fits the Honda CRF230F across several model years and also covers the CRF150F.
A 13-tooth front sprocket sits on the smaller end of the typical range, which lowers overall gearing for stronger acceleration off the line at the expense of top-end speed.
