The ProTaper Honda XR250R Front Sprocket - 14 Teeth is a Race Spec (RS) front sprocket made from 655M13 nickel-chrome-molybdenum alloy steel that has been case-hardened and core-refined, then CNC machined and internally broached to tight tolerances. A proprietary coating is applied to resist wear and corrosion, while lightening holes cut rotating weight and self-cleaning mud grooves keep dirt from building up around the teeth. It fits the Honda XR250R as well as several CB and CBR300 models and the CRF250L, making it a practical choice for riders across those platforms.
A 14-tooth front sprocket sits on the smaller end of the typical front sprocket range, which lowers overall gearing, sharpening throttle response and acceleration while reducing top speed compared to a larger front sprocket.
