The ProTaper Honda CRF450R Front Sprocket - 13 Teeth is a Race Spec (RS) front sprocket built from 655M13 nickel-chrome-molybdenum alloy steel that has been case-hardened and core-refined, then CNC machined and internally broached to tight tolerances. Lightening holes keep rotating weight low, self-cleaning mud grooves help the sprocket shed dirt, and a proprietary coating resists wear and corrosion. It fits a wide range of Honda dirt bikes and ATVs, from the CRF450R to the CR250R and several TRX models.
A smaller front sprocket like this 13-tooth lowers overall gearing, which sharpens acceleration off the line and out of corners at the cost of some top-end speed.
