ProTaper EVO MX Race Handlebar - Black

The ProTaper EVO MX Race Handlebar - Black is ProTaper's flagship unbraced handlebar, built from a proprietary 7000-series aluminum alloy with a 4mm wall and a shot-peened, stress-relieved, anodized finish over an epoxy inner coating. ProTaper's own lab testing shows it outlasts every competing handlebar in fatigue life, and the design is up to 25% lighter and 45% stronger than conventional bars. The unbraced construction is intended to increase flex and impact absorption, giving riders more comfort and less fatigue over the course of a ride without giving up structural strength.

With 40mm of rise, these bars sit at a moderate height above the clamp, offering a comfortable standing position without pushing the rider too upright. The 53mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a more relaxed wrist angle, which helps reduce arm and wrist fatigue on longer motos. At 812mm wide with 210mm of control area on each side, the bar provides solid leverage and plenty of room for levers and switches, and the width can be trimmed down if a narrower setup is preferred.
