ProTaper Fuzion MX Race Handlebar

The ProTaper Fuzion MX Race Handlebar is a full-size 1-1/8 in. clamp handlebar built around ProTaper's flex locking crossbar system, which lets riders switch between a stiffer, more direct feel and a softer, more compliant feel in seconds depending on the terrain. The bar itself is drawn from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy, while the crossbar is cold-forged aluminum with CNC-machined clamps and an aerospace-grade polymer bond. A shot-peened, stress-relieved, and anodized finish adds durability, and the package ships with a crossbar pad and plastic bar end plugs already included.

With 40mm of rise and 53mm of sweep, this bar brings the grip area up a noticeable amount above the clamp and angles the wrists back into a fairly relaxed position, which works well for riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright feel. The 812mm width gives good leverage across a range of body types, and the 210mm control area on each side leaves room for levers, switches, and other accessories. Width can be trimmed down if needed, but it cannot be added back, so cut carefully.
