Progressive Suspension 444 Series Shock - 11.5 inch Heavy-Duty Chrome Part 444-4060C
Experience improved ride quality with the Progressive Suspension 444 Series Shock, designed for heavy-duty motorcycle applications. Featuring the innovative Frequency Sensing Technology (FST), these shocks automatically adjust damping based on bump frequency, providing a smoother, more controlled ride across various terrains. The deflective disc valving enhances shock responsiveness and durability, ensuring consistent performance under demanding conditions. The preload spring can be easily adjusted by hand without any special tools, allowing for quick customization to suit rider weight and riding style. Including a progressive-rate spring, these shocks are high-pressure gas charged to maintain optimal damping and performance over time.
Constructed in the USA, the 444 Series shocks are slightly longer than stock, which may alter the head angle and result in quicker steering, or slightly shorter, which can slow steering response. Before installation, it is essential to verify that wheel travel and clearance are sufficient to avoid contact with components such as the swingarm, exhaust, chain or belt guards, and tires. These shocks are highly recommended for applications where the motorcycle operates at or near maximum load capacity more than 50% of the time, ensuring durability and performance during demanding rides.
