The Motul 5100 4T Synthetic Blend Oil 15W-50 4L is a synthetic blend four-stroke engine oil built around Motul's Ester Technology, which the company says improves engine response. It carries the SL API rating, making it suited to bikes fitted with catalytic converters, and includes a proprietary extreme pressure formula aimed at protecting the gearbox.

This oil is rated 15W-50, meaning the 15W reflects its cold-weather flow rating and the 50 reflects its viscosity at operating temperature. Match that grade to whatever your service manual specifies. The 4L bottle is a practical size for a full oil change on most four-stroke engines, and the low sulfur and phosphorus formulation makes it compatible with catalytic converter-equipped machines.
