The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Protocol Helmet offers top-tier protection combined with innovative technology for riders seeking safety and performance. Crafted with a 12K carbon fiber shell, this helmet provides an ultra-lightweight yet highly durable shell that delivers superior penetration resistance, ensuring maximum safety during impact. The helmet features Impact Energy Cells made of RHEON material, which absorb both linear and rotational impacts, reducing the forces transferred to the rider's head and enhancing overall protection. The Conehead® EPS technology consists of a softer liner with six strategically tuned zones that respond progressively to low-speed and high-speed impacts, providing tailored impact management in critical areas. Additionally, the expanded volume EPS offers extra impact absorption and more suspension between the rider's head and the ground, while the EPP chin bar adds further energy absorption and damage resistance for comprehensive protection. The clavicle shell relief zone is designed to help reduce clavicle injuries by creating a soft zone filled with EPS and EPP material, adding to the helmet's injury mitigation capabilities. Comfort is prioritized with a washable, moisture-wicking, anti-microbial liner and quick-release cheek pads for easy fitting and removal. The helmet's advanced ventilation system, True Functional Ventilation (TFV), actively channels air through multiple intake and exhaust vents, maintaining rider comfort during motion. Safety and connectivity are enhanced by the Quin® Race Sensor, equipped with five scientific-grade sensors that monitor impact data and can auto-detect crash events. In the event of a crash, the Fly Smart App records impact details and contacts emergency contacts; for APEX subscribers, a 5-diamond monitoring center can dispatch local emergency services. The integrated SOS Beacon allows riders to notify emergency contacts and services with just five taps on the helmet. The helmet includes Bluetooth 5.0 for seamless connection to the Fly Smart App, enabling live ride analytics such as GPS tracking, speed, accelerations, and Q-Score. LED lights on the helmet indicate status and flash red during a crash. Rechargeable via Micro USB, it offers up to 60 days of battery life with a two-hour fast charge, complemented by automatic sleep and wake functions. The helmet's design features high-visibility accents with integrated LED lights and a custom-molded rubber trim with an embedded nose guard, ensuring both style and safety for demanding riders.
