The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Protocol Helmet offers advanced protection and smart features designed for serious riders. Crafted with a lightweight 12K carbon fiber shell, this helmet balances superior durability with minimal weight, ensuring comfort during long rides. The helmet incorporates Quin® Race Sensor technology, featuring five scientific-grade sensors that continuously evaluate impact data and can automatically detect crash events, providing peace of mind for riders in challenging conditions. In the event of a crash, the Fly Smart App records impact details and notifies your emergency contacts, with an optional 5-diamond level monitoring center dispatching local emergency services for APEX subscribers. An SOS Beacon feature allows riders to alert emergency contacts and services by simply tapping the helmet five times, even while on the move, enhancing safety in critical situations. The helmet includes impact energy absorption systems such as Impact Energy Cells made of RHEON, which maximize the absorption of both linear and rotational impacts, reducing transmitted forces to the brain. The Conehead® EPS Technology offers a softer liner with finely tuned zones that respond effectively to impacts at various speeds, providing better shock management. Additional impact mitigation is achieved with an expanded volume EPS and a durable EPP chin bar, which absorb energy and resist damage, while the clavicle shell relief zone helps reduce clavicle injuries by dispersing impact forces. Comfort features include a washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial liner and quick-release cheek pads for easy removal. True Functional Ventilation (TFV) ensures optimal airflow with multiple intake and exhaust vents, keeping riders cool in motion. The integrated LED lights indicate device status and flash red during a crash, while wireless updates via Bluetooth 5.0 keep the helmet's software current. Rechargeable with a two-hour fast charge, the helmet provides up to 60 days of battery life, depending on usage.
