The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Protocol Helmet offers superior protection and smart safety features for motocross and off-road riders. Crafted with a 12K carbon fiber shell, this helmet provides an extremely lightweight yet durable barrier, ensuring excellent penetration resistance during impacts. The helmet incorporates conehead® EPS technology, which employs a softer liner that manages impact forces more efficiently by fine-tuning six critical zones for both low-speed and high-speed impacts. This strategic design enhances overall impact absorption, helping to reduce injury risks.
The helmet is equipped with Quin® Race Sensor technology, featuring five scientific-grade sensors that continuously evaluate data and automatically detect crash events. In the event of a crash, the Fly Smart App records impact data and contacts emergency contacts, while a 5-diamond monitoring center can dispatch local emergency services for APEX subscribers. An integrated SOS beacon allows users to notify emergency contacts and services by tapping the helmet five times when on the move, providing critical assistance during emergencies.
Designed for rider convenience and safety, the Formula S Carbon Protocol includes impact energy cells made of RHEON, which maximize absorption of linear and rotational impacts at low speeds, effectively reducing forces transmitted to the brain. The expanded volume EPS and EPP chin bar further enhance impact mitigation, offering increased suspension between your head and the ground, while the clavicle relief zone helps reduce clavicle injuries. The helmet features a custom-molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard, and the comfort liner with quick-release, washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial cheek pads ensures a secure and comfortable fit.
Connectivity is seamless with Bluetooth 5.0, enabling a wireless connection to the Fly Smart App for ride analytics, GPS tracking, speed, accelerations, and Q-Score monitoring. The helmet's LED lights indicate device status and flash red in the event of a crash. The helmet's rechargeable battery supports a two-hour fast charge via Micro USB, with a battery life of up to 60 days depending on usage. True Functional Ventilation (TFV) ensures optimal airflow during motion, with air entering through multiple vents, passing through EPS channels, and exiting via rear exhaust vents, maintaining rider comfort in demanding conditions.
