The Fly Racing Formula CC Objective Helmet in Matte Black/Grey offers advanced safety features combined with lightweight design for optimal performance. Crafted with a tri-weave composite shell consisting of carbon fiber, DuPont™ Kevlar®, and fiberglass, this helmet provides superior penetration resistance while maintaining a comfortable weight. Its impact energy cells made of RHEON absorb both linear and rotational impacts effectively, reducing transmitted forces to protect the rider's brain during crashes. Strategically designed with six critical zones, the helmet delivers enhanced protection by fine-tuning response in key impact areas. The expanded volume EPS in certain zones offers increased impact absorption, creating more suspension between the rider's head and the ground. The expanded polypropylene (EPP) chin bar adds an extra layer of impact mitigation, offering superior damage resistance and energy absorption. A clavicle shell relief zone filled with EPS and EPP helps reduce clavicle injuries during falls. The helmet also features a custom-molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard for added protection and durability.
Designed for comfort, the helmet includes a washable, moisture-wicking, anti-microbial liner and quick-release cheek pads that ensure a snug fit and easy maintenance. Weighing approximately 2.9 pounds (size MD/LG), it balances protection with comfort for extended use. The true functional ventilation (TFV) system actively pulls air in through multiple intake vents, channels it through the EPS, and exhausts it via rear vents, keeping the rider cool and comfortable during intense rides. The package includes a soft fleece helmet bag for storage and transportation, with an optional cold weather breath guard available for added versatility in different climates.
