The BRAKING MC6601 brake master cylinder offers an innovative solution for motorcycle braking systems, designed to enhance performance and control. Available with a 16mm piston for single disk bikes or a 19mm option for dual disk setups, this component features an integrated reservoir and an optional brake light switch suitable for street conversions. Its design aims to deliver equal or greater braking power with less lever effort, thanks to its radial piston configuration which differs from traditional axial master cylinders. This design improves responsiveness and reduces rider fatigue during prolonged braking.
Constructed with a fully folding machined lever, the MC6601 provides durability and ergonomic comfort, making it easier to operate under various riding conditions. The included 12mm oil reservoir ensures proper fluid capacity, while the threaded spot for a mirror allows for convenient rearview mirror installation. For applications requiring a separated reservoir, BRAKING offers the #32-0009 model, which is recommended to be paired with an original equipment (OE) reservoir and includes a brake light switch and optional rear mirror bracket.
