The Arai Helmets Regent-X Helmet in XL size, featuring a vibrant Yellow Frost patch design, combines advanced safety features with superior comfort for optimal head protection. Its intermediate oval shape is designed to fit the majority of head shapes in the North American market, providing a secure and comfortable fit for a wide range of users. The helmet's shell is constructed using Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-CLC), which offers an excellent balance of lightweight design and strength, ensuring durability without adding unnecessary weight. The innovative Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism allows for quick, easy, and intuitive shield operation. The larger latch is designed for seamless handling, while the VAS latch securely holds the shield closed to prevent accidental opening during rides. The smaller VAS pivot cover increases the shield's opening area, facilitating better airflow and visibility. The shell's smooth profile along the Snell test line in the temple area helps deflect impacts, reducing the risk of injury during collisions.
Comfort is a priority with the adjustable perimeter liner and cheek pads, which can be tailored to fit the rider's specific head size for a personalized fit. The soft-brushed, removable liner enhances ease of cleaning and ensures all-day comfort. The FCS® Cheek Pads are contoured with multiple foam densities supported by a foam “spring,” effectively cradling the face and blocking wind noise for a quieter ride. Aerodynamic efficiency is improved through a one-piece exhaust vent design that enhances heat extraction and moisture control, reducing shield fogging and maintaining clear visibility. The helmet features a 5 mm flare around the base, making it easier to don and doff while maintaining a secure fit with the FCS2 cheek pads. The top exhaust vent remains open constantly to help vent heat and moisture, ensuring rider comfort even during extended use.
