The ARAI Helmets Regent-X Stars & Stripes Dark 2XL helmet is designed to offer superior safety, comfort, and ease of use for motorcycle riders. Featuring the innovative Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism, this helmet allows for quick, intuitive shield operation with a larger latch for seamless handling. The VAS pivot cover is smaller and lower, providing more area above the cover, which enhances the helmet’s ability to glance off objects during an impact. Its smooth shell along the Snell test line in the temple area improves impact resistance and overall safety, ensuring reliable protection during rides. The shell is constructed using Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-CLC), which combines lightweight design with increased strength, offering optimal durability without adding unnecessary weight. The shell flares 5 mm around the base to facilitate easier donning and removal while maintaining a secure fit with FCS2 cheek pads.
The helmet's interior features an adjustable perimeter liner and cheek pads, allowing for a personalized fit to accommodate different head sizes and shapes. The interior also includes soft-brushed, removable liners that make cleaning straightforward and enhance comfort during extended wear. The FCS® Cheek Pads are contoured with multiple foam layers supported by a foam “spring,” which effectively cradles the face and helps block wind noise. To improve airflow and heat management, the helmet is equipped with a one-piece exhaust vent that enhances exhaust performance and aerodynamic stability.
