The ARAI Helmets Regent-X Helmet in Modern Gray offers advanced safety features combined with innovative design for optimal protection and comfort. Designed with the Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism, this helmet allows for quick, easy, and intuitive shield operation. The VAS pivot cover is smaller and lower, providing more area above the cover for enhanced peripheral vision, while the shell's smooth profile along the Snell test line improves its ability to glance off objects during impacts. The larger latch ensures seamless shield adjustments, facilitating quick and secure changes without hassle. Constructed with a Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-CLC) shell, the helmet is lightweight yet stronger, providing excellent durability without adding unnecessary weight. The secure VAS latch keeps the shield firmly closed, preventing accidental openings during rides, which enhances rider safety. The helmet features an adjustable perimeter liner and cheek pads, allowing for a customized fit that accommodates individual head shapes and sizes. The interior includes soft-brushed, removable liners that are easy to clean and provide exceptional comfort during extended wear. The FCS® Cheek Pads are contoured with multiple foam layers supported by a foam “spring,” effectively cradling the face and blocking wind noise, thus improving overall riding comfort. Aerodynamic efficiency is further enhanced with a one-piece exhaust vent that improves heat extraction and moisture relief, helping prevent shield fogging and maintaining clear visibility.
