The ARAI HELMETS Quantum-X Helmet in Aluminum Silver offers a precise fit designed for riders with slightly wider heads, featuring a round oval shape achieved through an innovative interior head liner with thicker front and rear pads and thinner side pads. This ergonomic design enhances comfort and stability during rides. The helmet’s construction incorporates the Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC) shell, which combines multiple advanced materials to deliver excellent performance while maintaining affordability. The Quantum-X is equipped with the Variable Axis System (VAS) shield system, which lowers the pivot point by an average of 24 mm. This design creates a smoother shell surface around the temple area, effectively reducing impact energy transfer and enhancing impact absorption. The VAS latch securely holds the shield closed, preventing accidental openings and facilitating easy, intuitive shield operation with its large de-mist function. The helmet includes a VAS-Max Vision (VAS-MV) shield compatible with the VAS-MV Pinlock® lens, which is included along with Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™ to prevent fogging and ensure clear visibility in varying conditions.
Airflow management is optimized with QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts, providing efficient air intake and exhaust performance. The side vent continues to serve as an exhaust even when the front shutter on the top duct is closed, maintaining ventilation regardless of riding conditions. The helmet features FCS® cheek pads, contoured with multiple foam layers supported by a foam “spring,” which cradle the face, block wind noise, and facilitate easier on-off. The water-repellent ES chin cover enhances the helmet's streamlined look, smoothing airflow, increasing exhaust from the mouth area, and reducing wind noise from below.
