The ARAI HELMETS Corsair-X helmet features an advanced VAS Shield Mechanism with a variable axis and moving pivot point, ensuring smooth opening and closing even with a lower shield mount position. The dual-function lever allows for quick and effortless removal of the side cover and shield pin, facilitating easy shield changes. The transparent shield design provides clear visibility and allows for easy inspection of the mechanism, enhancing maintenance convenience.
Constructed with the PB-SNC² Shell made from super fiber and synthetic fibers, this helmet offers an optimal balance of tensile strength, flexibility, and lightweight performance. The shell's design incorporates a smaller and lower VAS pivot cover, along with a smooth shell profile along the SNell test line in the temple area, which increases the helmet's ability to glance off objects during impact for enhanced safety. The Diffuser Type 12 air intake vents are adjustable to three positions, providing improved sealing to reduce road noise and water intrusion, contributing to a quieter and more comfortable ride.
The helmet's Odor-Resistant liner is fully removable and features a soft frame material for enhanced comfort. It maintains a neutral pH level close to the skin, helping to prevent odors. The removable temple padding and crown pad allow for a customized fit, ensuring the helmet stays comfortable during long rides. The VAS Max-V (BV) shield offers a wide field of view for all-season riding conditions, complemented by a standard Pinlock® insert for fog prevention. The IC Duct5 enhances airflow, with a three-position switch that is easier to operate and minimizes water intrusion when fully closed, ensuring optimal ventilation and weather resistance during your rides.
