It is designed to crush or break away upon impact, ensuring safety without compromising protective performance. The helmet also includes a 3-position sliding air-scoop chin vent, allowing riders to easily adjust airflow with gloved hands, with a replaceable filter for added convenience. Additionally, the quick-operating lever for the vent allows easy opening or closing, even with summer or winter gloves.
The Contour-X features a Variable Axis System (VAS) that adjusts the visor mounting position downward by approximately 24 mm across the temple areas. This adjustment creates a smoother profile, increasing impact resistance and reducing glare. The helmet's shell is equipped with extra super fiber belting around critical areas, enhancing rigidity and providing flat sides for seamless communication system installation. The helmet's low-profile design includes a 5 mm flare around the opening for easier fitting and removal, making it suitable for riders of all experience levels.
