The Alpinestars Tech-Air® v2 Off-Road System is a state-of-the-art safety solution designed for off-road enthusiasts and street riders alike. Featuring a full active airbag that inflates in the event of a crash, this system provides comprehensive coverage for the chest, back, shoulders, neck, and collarbones, ensuring maximum upper body protection during high-impact situations. Its integration with the Alpinestars Off-Road Protection Jacket offers added passive protection, including full back, limb, and chest guards, to shield riders from rocks, debris, and trail hazards.
Built to endure demanding terrain, the Tech-Air® Off-Road System comes pre-loaded with three versatile riding modes: Enduro, Rally, and Street. These modes can be easily navigated via the LED display on the front or through the intuitive Tech-Air® app, allowing riders to quickly adapt to different riding conditions. The system's dual charge capability ensures reliable performance with two gas inflators, providing two separate deployments for enhanced safety. Its fully self-contained design incorporates advanced sensors including three accelerometers and gyroscopes, delivering precise crash detection across various off-road scenarios.
Ease of use is a key feature, with the system powering on automatically when zipped up, and a quick-release cover facilitating rapid gas inflator replacement where permitted. The embedded lithium-ion battery offers approximately 30 hours of use on a full charge, with a recharge time of around 4 hours, and the LED display includes a convenient USB-C charging port. For added convenience, the system can be easily deactivated by unzipping, and the ECU and airbag are fully removable for cleaning or maintenance of the protection jacket. The integrated shipping mode switch allows for safe transportation by disconnecting the battery, which is especially useful during storage or shipping.
Certified for race use under FIM Cross Country Rally regulations, the Alpinestars Tech-Air® v2 System guarantees reliable inflation within approximately 52 milliseconds and provides extensive coverage, including inflating around the neck for additional protection.
