Equipped with AI-powered crash detection technology, the Tech-Air® 3 uses the Tech-Air® 5 Street crash detection algorithm that continuously monitors rider movements through six integrated sensors—three accelerometers and three gyroscopes. This sensor array enables the system to accurately assess dangerous situations and deploy the airbag within milliseconds of detecting a crash or hazardous movement. The system’s proven crash detection algorithm has been developed and refined with over 2 million kilometers of riding data and more than 2,000 crash scenarios, ensuring high reliability in a variety of street riding conditions, even when stationary. An intuitive LED display on the chest indicates the system’s operational status, including armed status and low battery alerts, complemented by haptic vibrations for tactile confirmation.
The Tech-Air® 3 system offers seamless Bluetooth connectivity to the dedicated app, allowing riders to monitor system health, battery life, and access detailed ride data via MyRide. Its versatility allows it to be worn over any compatible leather or textile jacket with sufficient space for inflation, making it adaptable to different riding styles and preferences. An integrated back protector pocket provides an option for additional passive back protection, further enhancing rider safety.
