The Alpinestars Tech-Air Stella Tech-Air® 3 is a lightweight, autonomous airbag system designed for motorcycle riders seeking enhanced protection and peace of mind. This versatile wearable tech can be comfortably worn over or under a variety of motorcycle jackets, including leather and textile options, making it ideal for touring, city commuting, and light off-road adventures. Its compact design ensures it does not impede movement while providing full upper body coverage in the event of a crash. The system's intuitive LED display on the chest indicates operational status and incorporates a haptic alert that vibrates to confirm when the system is armed or when battery levels are low, keeping the rider informed at all times.
The Tech-Air® 3 employs advanced AI-driven crash detection algorithms, utilizing six integrated sensors—three accelerometers and three gyroscopes—to accurately monitor dynamic riding scenarios, even when stationary. Developed with over 2 million kilometers of riding data and refined through analysis of more than 2,000 crashes, the system can predict and deploy the airbag milliseconds before impact, providing reliable protection against impacts such as lowsides and highside crashes. Once activated, the inflatable airbag offers full coverage of the rider's chest and back, significantly reducing injury risk. An integrated back protector pocket allows for additional passive protection, further customizing the safety setup.
Connectivity features include Bluetooth compatibility with the Tech-Air® App, enabling riders to monitor system status, battery life, and access detailed ride data via MyRide.
