The Alpinestars Tailwind Air Waterproof Jacket combines advanced materials and innovative features to deliver optimal performance and comfort for motorcycle riders. Crafted from durable 600D polyester fabric with a PU coating, this jacket offers reliable weather resistance and long-lasting durability. Extended high-performance mesh panels across the chest, back, and sleeves enhance airflow, helping to keep riders cool during long rides or in hot conditions. Strategically placed shoulder accordion stretch panels are designed to accommodate the Alpinestars airbag system, allowing for seamless expansion upon inflation while maintaining an excellent fit when riding without the system fitted. The jacket is Tech-Air® compatible, supporting the world's first fully electronic, independent upper body airbag system, with an internal housing in the back protector for the system’s ECU and an LED indicator on the sleeve to monitor operational status. A detachable waterproof membrane ensures all-weather versatility, making this jacket suitable for various riding environments. Multiple elasticated adjusters on the sleeves and waist facilitate a tailored fit, while pre-curved sleeves reduce rider fatigue and enhance comfort during extended rides. The ergonomic touring collar construction provides additional rider comfort, and the adjustable cuff system, featuring snap buttons, gussets, and security zippers, allows for ease of use even with gloves. Practicality is addressed with two front kangaroo-style pockets and a zippered chest pocket, along with a waterproof front inner pocket for secure storage. Reflective prints on the back increase visibility in low-light conditions, adding an extra layer of safety. The jacket also features impact protection with Bio Armor shoulder and elbow protectors, along with compartments designed to accommodate optional Alpinestars Nucleon chest and back inserts. The waist connection zipper enables attachment to Alpinestars riding pants for a seamless riding suit, completing a versatile and high-performance riding gear piece suitable for touring and everyday riding.
