The Alpinestars T SP-5 Rideknit® Jacket is designed for optimal riding performance and safety, featuring a knitted textile construction with a body-mapped fit, pre-curved sleeves, and strategically placed stretch panels. This design ensures both comfort and freedom of movement, making it suitable for a range of riding conditions. The jacket is equipped with a hard-wearing poly-fabric chassis that offers durability and abrasion resistance, essential for rider protection. A large mesh panel at the back of the collar enhances airflow, helping to regulate temperature during long rides and in warm weather conditions. The jacket's construction allows for compatibility with the Tech-Air® 5 airbag system, providing an additional layer of safety when needed, with no bike-to-rider setup required. The inclusion of stretch knitted panels on the arms, inner arms, and torso further enhances fit and comfort, ensuring the jacket moves seamlessly with the rider's body. The low-profile sports collar, lined with soft material, contributes to rider comfort, especially during extended wear. Features such as hook-and-loop closures at the waist and cuffs, along with a semi-automatic zipper, provide secure and adjustable fit options. Storage is well-considered, with two front zippered pockets, an inner waterproof document pocket, and additional inner pockets on the liner for secure storage of personal items. Ease of use is supported by a large Vislon® zipper that can be operated with gloved hands, and attachment loops facilitate integration with Alpinestars riding pants.
