The Alpinestars Supertech M10 Helmet TLD Edition 25 is engineered for optimal protection and performance for professional and serious riders. Its aerodynamic profile features a streamlined design free of external channels, reducing potential impact load points and maintaining structural integrity. The surface curvature promotes impact deflection and efficient energy transfer, safeguarding the rider’s head against direct impacts to the skull, neck, and spinal column. Constructed using advanced molding technology, the shell combines a multi-composite design: a high-density 3K carbon outer layer enhances strength and energy dissipation; a uni-directional carbon composite layer provides superior radial strength and controlled deflection to minimize impact transmission; and an Aramid fiber layer offers critical penetration resistance. Bonded with epoxy resin, the shell's design ensures maximum strength, energy management, and limited outer shell deflection, which helps distribute impact forces more effectively to the four-density EPS liner inside. The helmet's multi-layer construction is optimized for durability and impact absorption, making it suitable for demanding riding conditions.
Ventilation is a key feature of the Supertech M10, with 28 individual intake and exhaust ports—18 intakes and 10 exhausts—excluding the eye port—designed to promote airflow and keep the rider cool during intense activity. The chin bar has a sculpted profile with a relief section to clear the collarbone, complemented by a softer EPS liner extending beyond the shell and covered with a flexible rubber compound to reduce the risk of collarbone injury. The helmet is equipped with the MIPS® Multi-directional Impact Protection System, which adds an extra layer of safety by reducing rotational forces during impacts. Removable side pads made from semi-soft polymer provide increased impact contact area for better energy dispersion.
Additional safety and convenience features include the Emergency Release System (ERS), an emergency visor release, visor extension for protection against roost and sun, and the Eject helmet removal system for quick and safe removal after an incident.
