The Alpinestars Stella Yaguara Drystar® Jacket offers a high-performance combination of protection, comfort, and versatility for serious riders. Designed to be compatible with Alpinestars’ Tech-Air® airbag system (sold separately), this jacket features stretch gussets on the arms and sleeves, allowing the inflated volume of the airbag to expand without compromising seam strength or material integrity. Its ergonomic construction means it can be worn comfortably without the airbag system, providing a personalized fit suitable for various riding styles.
Constructed with a multi-panel advanced polyamide fabric shell, the jacket ensures durability and comfort while maintaining a lightweight profile thanks to the laminated Drystar® membrane. This bonded membrane design enhances waterproofing and breathability, keeping the rider dry and comfortable in diverse weather conditions. Multiple ventilation zippered openings on the arms, back, and sides promote airflow, reducing heat buildup during long rides. An adjustable buckle waist system, along with multiple volume adjusters on the sleeves, ensures a secure, tailored fit that prevents material bunching and enhances riding stability.
Storage options include two front hand pockets, seamless chest and hand pockets with gussets, and a large back utility pocket for essentials. Additional waterproof pockets inside safeguard smaller belongings. The cuff adjustment system utilizes dual hook-and-loop grip straps for rapid, customizable closures. For increased visibility during night riding, the jacket incorporates multiple reflective prints on strategic areas. The touring collar with microfiber edging and 3D textured inner lining enhances comfort during extended rides. Pre-curved sleeves reduce rider fatigue, while the large stretch panels on the shoulders and arms improve flexibility and movement. The waist connection zipper allows attachment to Alpinestars riding pants, creating a unified riding suit.
Protection features include reinforced elbows with aramid fibers, internal Bio Air shoulder and elbow protectors, and shoulder protection layered with over-molded Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) guards for optimal safety. The jacket also includes compartments for optional Nucleon chest and back inserts (sold separately), offering additional impact protection. Adjustable features such as the cuff closure system and multiple straps ensure a personalized fit, while the multiple reflective prints increase visibility in low-light conditions.
