The Alpinestars SMX Plus Boots are engineered for high-performance motorcycling, combining advanced protection with exceptional flexibility. The front flex zone, made from soft microfiber, enhances natural movement and reduces fatigue during long rides or aggressive maneuvering. An accordion microfiber panel on the Achilles area provides additional flexibility, allowing for smooth articulation and greater comfort. The outside entry system features a stretchable accordion panel that ensures a snug fit while making it easy to put on and take off the boots.
The boots incorporate Alpinestars’ exclusive Multi-Link Control system, which delivers superior external ankle support and protection by limiting hyper-torsion, hyper-extension, and hyper-flexion. This design promotes natural ankle movement while safeguarding against impacts and injuries. For added protection, the toe area features a dual-density TPU replaceable slider with a screw-in assembly, allowing for quick maintenance and replacement. The heel sliders are also replaceable and positioned to absorb shocks while facilitating controlled sliding during an accident. Large, asymmetrical accordion zones at the front and rear maximize flexibility, ensuring comfort and safety in dynamic riding conditions.
The internal lining is constructed from advanced synthetic materials laminated with open-cell foam, providing excellent shock absorption and breathability. The anatomical EVA footbed offers customizable arch support and a firm pedal feel, enhancing rider control. The durable sole features an evenly textured rubber surface, delivering consistent grip on various surfaces for confident handling. Precise fit is achieved through an inner instep speed lacing closure, complemented by a lateral zipper and a Micro Lock System made from high-strength polymer resin, which ensures quick, secure, and adjustable closure.
