Designed specifically for off-road racing enthusiasts, the Alpinestars SM7 Helmet offers a superior blend of ventilation, comfort, and impact protection. Its lightweight composite shell features an aerodynamic profile that ensures minimal air resistance and optimal stability at high speeds. The smooth, streamlined design eliminates external channels and protrusions, reducing the risk of impact load points and maintaining the helmet's structural integrity during rigorous off-road activities. The shell's curved surface promotes reduced friction upon impact, allowing for efficient energy deflection and safeguarding the rider's head, neck, and spinal column. With 20 adjustable intake and exhaust ports—13 for air intake and 7 for exhaust—the helmet ensures optimal airflow to keep the rider cool and comfortable even in the most demanding conditions. The helmet's fit can be further personalized with available replacement cheek pads, which are compatible across all shell sizes and come in various thicknesses to suit individual preferences. The cutaway section on the left side enables seamless integration of communication systems, with recesses designed for speakers and a dedicated channel for hydration tubes, ensuring connectivity and hydration during intense rides. The interior linings are removable, washable, and treated with antimicrobial fabrics, maintaining hygiene and freshness. The crown and neck pads are elastically connected to improve impact management, while the top pad is height-adjustable thanks to the A-head system for a customized fit. The cheek pads, made of 3D foam, feature an emergency extraction system for quick removal and have channels for hydration tubes. The chin strap is secured with a 25 mm nylon strap and stainless steel DD rings, with removable covers for easy cleaning. Integrated channels on both sides allow for hydration system installation, enhancing convenience during long rides. Safety features include a Visor Detaching System with a release mechanism that activates upon impact energy exceeding 15 Joules, ensuring the visor detaches to prevent injury. The helmet also incorporates Alpinestars PLASMA technology within the side pads, strategically positioned for high-performance shock absorption that significantly reduces injury risk.
