The Alpinestars SM3 Helmet Heat in gloss yellow fluo and black offers advanced protection and comfort designed specifically for motocross, enduro, and off-road enthusiasts. Its shell construction utilizes varied thickness thermoplastic layers, providing an optimized balance between impact resistance and lightweight performance. The thermo-injected shell incorporates a polymer blend with different densities, ensuring superior impact absorption while keeping the helmet light for prolonged riding sessions. The impact-resistant outer shell is complemented by an inner composite fiber layer positioned between the outer shell and the EPS liner, delivering enhanced protection against impacts and abrasions.
The helmet features a multi-density EPS liner with five different densities, meticulously engineered to absorb and distribute impact forces effectively across critical zones. Its polished inner surface, coated to reduce friction, works in tandem with a rotational impact management system, minimizing the risks associated with oblique impacts. Ventilation is maximized through ten inlet ports and seven exhaust outlets, with the visor design directing airflow into these vents for increased heat transfer and rider comfort. Comfort is further improved with a liner crafted from recycled materials, aligning performance with eco-conscious design. Integrated channels within the helmet accommodate hydration tubes, making hydration accessible during demanding rides. The soft textile chin strap, measuring 25 mm, ensures a secure and comfortable fit, while the adjustable crown and cheek pads allow a tailored fit for each rider. The helmet is equipped with an emergency release system and removable cheek pads, facilitating safe removal even after an impact. Additionally, 3D contoured foam padding enhances overall rider comfort, and stainless steel D-rings provide a reliable, secure fit.
