Stretch fabric panels located below the back shoulders and accordion panels at the elbows improve flexibility and allow for natural movement, reducing rider fatigue. Large zippered front pockets and an internal waterproof pocket offer ample storage options for personal essentials and valuables. The jacket also includes a removable thermal vest with 100g insulation, extending its usability across different seasons and weather conditions. This thermal layer is made from a three-layered liner, comprising quilted taffeta, recycled polyester insulation, and soft jersey fabric for comfort.
The Alpinestars Clayton WR jacket is compatible with the Tech-Air® 3 airbag system for enhanced rider safety, provided the airbag system is worn over the jacket. Low-profile shoulder and elbow protectors are integrated for a sleek look while providing critical impact protection. The jacket is designed to accommodate optional chest and back protectors, which can be purchased separately, allowing riders to customize their protective setup. Reflective silver detailing on the front chest and dark silver reflective accents on the collar improve visibility during night rides. Additional features include adjustable side hook-and-loop waist straps, pant connection loops for secure attachment to riding pants, and Vision zippers on the front, pockets, and cuffs for ease of use.
