Constructed from durable reinforced polyfabric textile, the Andes v3 jacket features a newly developed direct ventilation system (DVS) with zippered chest air intakes and back exhaust ports. This system delivers high levels of airflow, keeping riders cool during warm weather or intense riding sessions. Internal impact protection is provided by removable elbow and shoulder protectors, which can be replaced or upgraded as needed. The jacket's design includes compartments for optional Nucleon chest and back inserts, sold separately, to further enhance impact protection.
Reinforced polymer-printed texturing in critical elbow and lower arm areas boosts abrasion resistance, while reflective details improve rider visibility in low-light conditions. The upper chest zippered hand pockets work in tandem with ventilation openings to regulate airflow and temperature.
